Time is Ticking is a new art–science campaign aimed at raising public awareness on ticks, their impacts on humans and animals, climate-driven changes in tick habitats, and ways to engage with citizen science efforts.
This December, a pilot in Barcelona will take, with posters displayed in selected public spaces. We will test the QR-linked landing page, and gather early feedback from local communities and citizen science groups.
This proof-of-concept will help refine the visuals, messaging, and engagement materials before a Europe-wide rollout in 2026, working with partners in Spain, Sweden, Finland, and beyond.
The campaign aims to strengthen climate-health literacy and support IDAlert’s mission on vector-borne disease awareness and preparedness.
